بررسی جلسه دوم: در جلسه اول دوره آموزش ویدیویی سیتریکس Netscaler به پیاده سازی HA پرداختیم. در این جلسه به بررسی برخی از پیکربندی ها و همچنین به روز رسانی نود ها پرداخته می شود. علاوه بر این پیکربندی ها مانیتورینگ HA نیز در این جلسه بررسی خواهد شد.

بررسی جلسه سوم: در جلسه سوم تمامی مباحث مربوط به عیب یابی و برطرف کردن مشکلات احتمالی پیش آمده در زیرساخت است. ممکن است زیرساخت به طور تصادفی Down شود، چه اقداماتی باید انجام داد؟ چطور می توان سازمان را از بحران فعلی خارج کرد و شرایط را به حالت پایدار رساند؟ این سئوال ها در این جلسه بررسی خواهند شد.

NetScaler 12 High Availability encompasses more than simply pairing two nodes. In addition to learning the implementation process, you’ll learn about and see numerous demos focused on configuration options, upgrades, and troubleshooting.

This course will expand upon what you have learned in the NetScaler 12 Getting Started course, and is the second course in the NetScaler Essentials series. In this course, Implementing Citrix NetScaler 12 High Availability, you’ll learn about High Availability. First, you’ll get an overview of High Availability and how to configure an HA pair. Next, you’ll discover how to select the appropriate options and the process for upgrading an HA pair. Finally, you’ll explore what to do if you encounter some “uh oh” moments. By the end this second course in the series, you’ll be proficient with High Availability, including initial setup, maintenance, and upgrading the two nodes.

About the author

Jo Harder has been involved with virtualization technologies for nearly 20 years, since the days of WinFrame/MetaFrame and the infancy of hypervisors. She started her technical career at Citrix in 1999, where she became a Senior Architect. Her 11-year tenure included a combination of Citrix Consulting and Technical Readiness roles. Post Citrix, Jo has taken on positions focused on consulting services and hosting provider services, as well as the creation of technical materials for various audiences. Starting in February 2015, she has been a Citrix Technology Professional awardee each year.

Hi. My name is Jo Harder, and welcome to the NetScaler 12 High Availability course. I’ve been working with Citrix Technologies for nearly 20 years and have been awarded Citrix Technology Professional for the past 4 years. The next one and a half hours will expand upon what you’ve learned in the NetScaler 12 Getting Started course and is the second course in the NetScaler Essentials series.

In this course, you’ll learn about high availability including the myriad of options, as well as configuration. Then you’ll learn about upgrading and the process to apply a new firmware version to the HA pair. Lastly, we’ll spend a few minutes on troubleshooting so that you are prepared just in case something unexpected occurs. While configuring high availability initially may seem straightforward, designating the appropriate options as well as the upgrade process can create some unnecessary downtime if not addressed correctly.

These learning materials and numerous demos ensure that you can competently implement and support high availability. We’ll cover these topics: first, an overview of high availability and how to configure an HA pair, then, selecting the appropriate options and the process for upgrading an HA pair, and lastly, exploring what to do if you encounter some “uh oh” moments.
